This error appears when a user tries to edit clocking data without the correct permissions.
You can resolve this by enabling the Maintain Historical Clockings and Ignore Data Entry Restriction options for the user in System Users.
Why this error happens
This message appears because the user does not have permission to change historical clockings.
To allow changes, you need to adjust the user’s access privileges.
How to enable historical clocking changes
Follow these steps to update the user permissions:
In Back Office, navigate to CoreTime.
Select System Params.
Click System Users.
Use the search function to find the relevant employee.
Select the Access Privileges tab.
Tick the boxes for:
Maintain Historical Clockings
Ignore Data Entry Restriction
Once enabled, the user will be able to make changes to historical clockings without encountering this error.
