There are 2 possible scenarios: the system user does not have relevant pattern types enabled or the control parameters setting does not have use personal alternates enabled. To fix this, follow the steps below.

Back-Office - Solution 1
Go to CoreTime.
Select System Params.
Click on System Users.
Query Employee.
If NOT present, create the System user account for the user with 'Access Type: MSS' and username as 'Employee number'.
Select Pattern Type Access.
Select relevant Pattern Types (or tick No Pattern Type Restriction if you want the user to have access to all patterns).
Select Access Privileges.
Enable the option- 'No Data Entry Restriction'.
Click Save.
Back-Office - Solution 2
Go to CoreTime.
Select System Params.
Click on Reference A-C.
Select Control Parameters.
Select General Parameter-1.
Enable Use Personal Alternates.
Click Save.
Portal
Go to WFM Admin Dashboard.
Select WFM Configuration.
Click on WFM System Users Configuration.
Query Employee.
If NOT present, create the System user account for the user with 'Access Type: MSS' and username as 'Employee number'.
Select Pattern Type Access.
Select relevant Pattern Types (or tick 'No Restrictions' if you want the user to have access to all patterns).
Select Access Privileges.
Enable the option- 'No Data Entry Restriction'.
Click Save.
