If you need to restrict a userโs ability to assign or view specific work patterns in the Roster Change screen of the Team Scheduler, you can do this by using Pattern Types in Back Office.
This process allows you to control which work patterns are available to each system user. Follow the steps below to set up and assign pattern type restrictions:
Create a new pattern type
Go to CoreTime.
Click System Params.
Select Reference K-P.
Click Pattern Types.
Create a new code for the pattern type restriction.
Assign the pattern type to the relevant work patterns
Go back to CoreTime.
Click System Params.
Select Work Patterns.
For each Work Pattern you want to restrict, click Rostering.
In the Pattern Type field, assign the new pattern type code you created.
Allocate the pattern type to the user
Go to CoreTime again.
Click System Params.
Select System Users.
Click Pattern Type Access.
Attach the new pattern type to the user account.
Ensure the option No Pattern Type Restriction is not ticked for the user.
Once this is configured, the user will only see the work patterns assigned to their Pattern Type Access in the Roster Change screen.
