When you receive the error 'The new pay code not in pay code group (pay code group name)', it means that the pay code is not included in the required Personalised Pay Code Group (PPCG).

To resolve this issue, you need to add the missing pay code to the correct pay code group in the WFM Admin Dashboard.

How to add a pay code to a pay code group

Follow the steps below to resolve the error:

  1. Go to the WFM Admin Dashboard.

  2. Select WFM Configuration.

  3. Click Pay Code Groups.

  4. Query the pay code group mentioned in the error message.

  5. Add the missing pay code to the group.

  6. Click Save.


Once saved, the error will no longer appear when using the pay code.
