View your employee tasks in Evo Navigator

How to view and navigate your assigned tasks in Evo Navigator using the Employee Tasks screen.

Written by James Pardy

The Employee Tasks screen in Evo Navigator gives you a read-only view of the tasks assigned to you. You can browse tasks across historical and future pay periods, and — if you hold more than one appointment — switch between appointments to see the relevant tasks for each.

Enable the Employee Tasks menu option

Before employees can access the Employee Tasks screen, the following web service must be enabled on the relevant menu profile:

Web Services

Access the Employee Tasks screen

To open the Employee Tasks screen in Evo Navigator:

  1. In Evo Navigator, search for Employee Tasks.

  2. Select the result labelled People XD.

  3. Click Action to open the Employee Tasks screen.

Navigate your tasks

The Employee Tasks screen is read-only and displays your assigned tasks for the selected period. Use the options below to navigate and view your task information.

Switch between appointments

If you hold more than one appointment, use the appointment dropdown at the top of the screen to switch between them. The task list will update to show the tasks associated with the selected appointment for the chosen period.

Change the pay period

Use the period selector to navigate between pay periods. You can view tasks for both historical and future periods.

View task details

The following fields are displayed for each task in the selected period:

Field

Description

Day

Displays the day, date, and month — for example, Tues 19th May.

Task Code

A short alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies the task type — for example, STEF3.

Task Name

The full name of the task associated with the task code.

Team Area

The team area you were in when the task was assigned.

Start Time

The start time of the task assignment.

End Time

The end time of the task assignment.

Duration

The duration of the task displayed in decimal hours — for example, 2.75. The column footer displays the total duration for all tasks in the selected period.

View comments and task descriptions

Each task row has a three-dot (ellipsis) menu that gives you access to additional information:

  • View Comments — view any comments a manager has added against the task.

  • View Task Description — view the full description associated with the task.

To access either option, click the three-dot menu on the relevant task row and select the option you want to view.

Manager view

📌Note: The manager view is a separate view available to managers only. It allows managers to view and edit task assignments on behalf of a colleague.

If you have manager access, you can switch to the manager view to review and edit task assignments for members of your team. Contact your system administrator if you require access to the manager view.
