You may see the error message 'You do not have access to "menu_profile" in the Web services system' when attempting to access certain features. This happens because your user profile does not have the required Web Services menu option enabled. By adjusting the menu profile settings, you can restore access.

Enable the missing menu option in the Web Services system

Follow these steps to find and enable the menu option mentioned in the error message.

  1. Open the system and go to Security.

  2. Select Menu profiles.

  3. Search for the menu profile linked to your user or the affected profile. This profile should include Web Services components.

  4. Within the profile, locate the menu option named exactly as in the error message (for example, menu_profile).

  5. Enable the menu option by checking or activating it.


Finalise the changes

After updating the menu profile, you must log out and then log back into the portal. This step ensures that the changes take effect and you regain access to the required menu.
