If a manager can view employees on the Manager Dashboard but not in WFM’s Team Scheduler, it usually means their Manager Role Access for the employee’s work group is missing or incomplete. This guide walks you through the necessary checks and updates in Back Office to fix this.

Verify Manager Role Access for the employee’s work group

  1. In Back Office, go to CorePersonnel.

  2. Select Reference.

  3. Click Maintain Organisational Roles.

  4. Click the ? symbol to search.

  5. Select the relevant work group.

  6. Check if the manager is listed with Manager Role Access for that work group.

  7. If the manager is not present, assign Manager Role Access to the manager for that work group.

Verify Manager Role Access by person

  1. In CorePersonnel, go to Reference.

  2. Select Maintain Organisational Roles by Person.

  3. Click the ? symbol to search.

  4. Select the relevant manager.

  5. Confirm the manager has Manager Role Access for the employee’s work group.

  6. If not, update the role to include this access.

🤓Tip: After updating, ask the manager to log out and log back in to refresh their permissions.
