If a manager is unable to action a leave request due to the above error please follow the steps below.

Check if the manager has a MSS System User Account

  1. From the Dashboard menu click WFM Admin Dashboard.

  2. Click WFM Configuration then click WFM System Users Configuration.

  3. Next to the relevant user click the three dot menu then click View/Edit.

  4. If the employee is absent, create the System User Account.

  5. Click Access Privileges then toggle on the desired options.

Check if the manager is setup with Manager Role Access for employee's Work Group

  1. From the Dashboard menu click People Management.

  2. Click Data Centre then click People Management.

  3. Click Maintain Organisational Roles then search for the relevant work group.

  4. If the manager is not present, set them up with Manager Role Access for that Work-Group.

Check if the Work Group is the same for both Workforce Management and People Management

If the Work Group is not the same, ask the People Management team to perform a substantive refresh activity using Make a post substantive in the back office.

Check if the employee is a 'Leaver' in CoreTime

If the employee is a 'Leaver', it won't be possible to approve the Leave Request. Please raise a case via The Access Digital Assistant.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: If there are multiple annual leave requests and cancellations for the same dates, the software might display the error message 'An Error occurred retrieving the leave request'. In this case, it won't be possible to approve the leave request.

To resolve this:

  • Raise a case using The Access Digital Assistant to have the leave request removed.

  • If you donโ€™t need to approve or edit the existing request and simply want it removed, raise a case using The Access Digital Assistant.
