Error: [Pay Code] must be entered in XXX days segments

Having issues submitting leave when using the part time leave and duration buttons

Cause 1

Ensure each of the below requirements are met by ensuring the employee is applying for the relevant segment of leave in their request.

  1. Go to WFM Admin Dashboard.

  2. Select WFM Configuration.

  3. Click on Work Patterns.

  4. Query the Work Pattern.

  5. Check the Work Pattern Full Day Value.

  6. Click Misc - 1, Full Day Value should be the same as the Default Hours of work pattern.

πŸ“Œ Note: The balance will be reduced by 0.50 Days rather than 1 Day and will allow leave to be approved in Approve Leave Request


Cause 2

This error can occur if the users balance was set up to only allow for full, half, quarter day segments. Thus, changing the Balance Segment value to 'Blank' will resolve the issue

  1. Go to WFM Admin Dashboard

  2. Select WFM Person Maintenance

  3. Query Employee

  4. Click on Balance tab

  5. Select 3 dots next to the required balance and choose 'Edit Setup'

  6. Change Balance Segment value to 'None'

  7. Click Save


Cause 3

This error can occur if the employee is trying to book 'Absence' for Full Day but the 'Work Pattern' on that day for the employee has 'Default Hours' less than the hours needed for Full Day absence

  1. Take note of the Work Pattern the employee is working on the day of the absence.

  2. Go to WFM Admin Dashboard

  3. Select WFM Configuration

  4. Click on Work Patterns

  5. Query the Work Pattern

  6. Check the Default Hours
