Written by James Pardy

In PeopleXD Workforce Management, HR admins and managers may need to add a personal override to an employee’s work pattern from the HR Administrator dashboard. To do this in Back office, the employee’s system user account must have the correct pattern type access enabled.

Before you start

Make sure:

  • the employee has a System User record

  • you can search for and update the relevant employee in CoreTime

  • you have permission to update system parameters in Back office

To allow personal overrides, enable No Pattern Type Restriction on the employee’s system user account.

  1. Go to CoreTime.

  2. Click System Params.

  3. Click System Users.

  4. Search for the relevant employee.

  5. Select Pattern Type Access.

  6. Enable No Pattern Type Restriction.

  7. Save your changes.

📌Note: If the required option is not enabled, HR admins and managers may be unable to add a personal override to the employee’s work pattern.
