In PeopleXD Workforce Management, HR admins and managers may need to add a personal override to an employee’s work pattern from the People Management dashboard. To do this in Portal, the employee’s CoreTime system user account must have the correct pattern type access enabled.
Before you start
Make sure:
the employee has a CoreTime System User record
the system user record uses MSS (Manager Self Service) access
you have permission to update security setup in Portal
Add a personal override to a work pattern in Portal
To allow personal overrides, enable No Pattern Type Restriction on the employee’s CoreTime system user account.
To enable personal override access in Portal
Go to Security.
Select Set Up.
Click Open for CoreTime System Users.
Select MSS (Manager Self Service Access).
Enter the employee number to search for the employee.
In the Select Detail field, choose Pattern Type Access.
Select No Pattern Type Restriction to enable it.
Save your changes.
📌Note: The employee must have an MSS CoreTime system user record before you can update their pattern type access.
Result
Once No Pattern Type Restriction is enabled, HR admins and managers should be able to add a personal override to work patterns for that employee from the People Management dashboard.
