Create a new team area

This explains how to create a new team area within the Team Area Structure.

⚠️Important: You need the appropriate administrator permissions to access the WFM Configuration area.

  1. Open the WFM Admin Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to WFM Configuration.

  3. Select Team Area Structure.

  4. Click the Add Team Area button.

  5. Enter a Code and Description for the new team area.

  6. Click Save.

πŸ€“Tip: Choose a clear and consistent naming format for team area codes to make them easier to manage later.


Add the new team area as a child team

After creating the team area, you need to attach it to a parent team so that employees can be assigned to it.

  1. In Team Area Structure, locate the parent team you want to add the new team area under.

  2. Click the three dots next to the team name.

  3. Select Add Child Team.

  4. In the Team Area drop-down menu, select the team area you created.

  5. Click Save.

πŸ“ŒNote: Once the team area is linked to a parent team, you can assign employees to it as needed.
