Manage Parental Leave

Add parental leave absence for an employee in Workforce Management.

Parental leave can be recorded in People Management or Workforce Management.

As an Administrator, to help manage parental leave for an employee, you can either watch the instructional video or follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to WFM Person Maintenance.

  2. Search for the relevant employee.

  3. Click the 3-dot menu next to their name and select Absences.

  4. Click the Add Absence button.

  5. Enter the required absence details.

  6. Click Save.

⚠️Important: After recording the absence, if statutory payment needs to be applied, it should be entered separately in Payroll.
