There are various reasons why this error might appear in PeopleXD Workforce Management. To resolve this, check each of the following in order.
The employee has no work pattern or shift type for the sickness dates
You need to ensure the employee has a valid work pattern assigned that covers the sickness dates.
To check this, follow the steps below.
From the Widgets drop-down menu, select People Management.
Click Employees then, next to the relevant employee, click View/Edit.
Click Change Work Schedule then adjust the Date Effective.
Click Save.
The user entering the absence doesn’t have Ignore Data Entry Restriction enabled
The user entering the sickness absence needs to have the relevant permissions to do this. To enable the Ignore Data Entry Restriction setting, follow the steps in the relevant section below.
Back Office
Click System Params, then click System Users.
Search for the user then click Access Privileges.
Turn on the Ignore Data Entry Restriction toggle.
Portal
Click WFM Admin Dashboard, then select WFM Configuration.
Click WFM System Users Configuration.
Next to the relevant user, click the three-dot menu.
Select View/Edit then click Access Privileges.
Turn on the Ignore Data Entry Restriction toggle.
The system calendar hasn't been extended
If the system calendar hasn’t been extended to cover the dates of the leave request, you can't record absence for those dates. To resolve this, you need to extend the system calendar.
