If an employee’s Team Area Start Date is set to a day in the middle of a rostered week, they will only appear on the roster starting the following week. For example, if the roster week begins on 1 May but the employee’s start date is 2 May, they will not show on the roster until 8 May. You can resolve this by updating the Team Area Start Date to the first day of the roster week.
Required conditions
You need appropriate permissions to access and edit employee details in both Portal and Back Office.
How to update the Team Area Start Date in Portal
Navigate to the WFM Admin Dashboard, then select WFM Person Maintenance.
Query the employee using their name or ID.
Click the three-dot menu and select View.
Go to the Team Area Assignment tab.
Change the Start Date to the first day of the current roster week.
Click Save to apply the changes.
How to update the Team Area Start Date in Back Office
Navigate to Coretime > Pers Data > Person Team Area.
Query the employee by name or ID.
Update the Start Date to the first day of the current roster week.
Click Save to confirm the change.
📌Note: Changing the Team Area Start Date to the first day of the roster week ensures the employee appears on the roster immediately.
