Pay code not calculating when running a future calculation

Find out how to fix the issue when a pay code is not included in future calculations in Back Office or the Portal.

When you run a future calculation, some pay codes might not calculate as expected. This usually happens when the Allow Future Calculation option is not enabled for the pay code.

To resolve this, you need to update the pay code settings in both CoreTime and the Portal.

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

Update the pay code in Back Office

  1. Go to CoreTime.

  2. Select System Params.

  3. Click Pay Codes.

  4. Query the pay code that didnโ€™t calculate.

  5. Select the General 4 tab.

  6. Enable the option Allow Future Calculation.

  7. Click Save.


Update the pay code in the Portal

  1. Log into the Portal.

  2. Navigate to the WFM Admin Dashboard.

  3. Select Paycodes.

  4. Locate the relevant pay code.

  5. Click the three dots next to the pay code, then select View/Edit.

  6. From the menu on the left, select Input Validation.

  7. Enable the option Future Calculation.

  8. Click Save.
