If you have assigned an annual leave balance to an employee and also performed balance recalculation, but the floating entitlement is still showing as Zero, follow the steps below.
Check if the Annual Leave Balance is updated on the Contract section on the People Management screen
Go to People Management.
Select Employees.
Search for the respective employee.
Click Contracts.
Click View on the latest contract.
Check and update the Annual Leave Balance code for the employee if Incorrect.
Click Save.
Now, perform Balance Recalculation.
The Annual Leave Code on the Entitlement per Balance screen on Back-Office should be set up with Balance Type (Days/ Hours or Both)
If it is set up with 'Days', the Annual Leave Balance assigned to the employees should also be set up with Balance type as 'Days', OR if set up with 'Hours', the Annual Leave Balance assigned to the employees should also be set up with Balance type as 'Hours'.
π Note: If the Annual Leave Code is setup with Balance Type as both 'Days and Hours', then the employee can be assigned this Annual Leave Balance with any type ( Days/ Hours )
Check if the Annual Leave code on the Entitlement per Balance screen has been set up in Days and Hours respectively and if so, follow the steps below.
Back-Office
Go to CoreTime.
Select System Params.
Click Balances.
Select Entitlement per Balance screen.
Query the Annual Leave Balance Code.
Check if it is setup in Days and Hours .
Portal
Go to People Management.
Query the employee.
Select Balances.
Check if it is setup in Days and Hours.
π Note: If it is a newly assigned Annual Leave Balance (with no transactions) to the employee with incorrect Balance Type, delete it and assign it again with the correct Balance Type.
