This issue can occur for two possible reasons. The first cause could be that the appointment's start or end date is out of sync in CorePersonnel. The second cause could be that an employee's position is not set up on Entitlement Per Balance.
Check if the appointment has the correct start or end dates
To check if the appointment's start or end dates are correct, follow the steps below:
Click CorePersonnel, then click Maintenance.
Click Appointment History, then check if the start or end dates are correct.
Click Save, then perform a balance recalculation.
Set up an employee with Entitlement Per Balance
To set up the employee's position on Entitlement Per Balance, follow the steps below:
Click CoreTime, then click System Params.
Click Balances, then click Entitlement Per Balance.
Click the Question mark symbol, then click the relevant balance.
Add the employee position under the Category column, then add the period under the Period column.
Input the entitlement in days and hours, then click Save.
π Note: Once these steps have been carried out you will need to carry out a balance recalculation for the affected employee.
