Hiding a Pay Code from Attendance Input or Timesheet Input

Hide a specific pay code from selection via Attendance Input or Timesheet Input to prevent users from inputting hours using this pay code

Written by James Pardy

You can hide a pay code from Attendance Input and Timesheet Input by updating the pay code settings in CorePortal.

⚠️Important: The pay code will also be hidden from selection in Back Office.

Users will still have view-only access to the pay code.

Users with the Maintain Display Only Pay Codes access privilege will still be able to input hours using display-only pay codes.

  1. Go to the WFM Admin Dashboard.

  2. Select WFM Configuration.

  3. Click on Pay Codes.

  4. Search for the relevant pay code.

  5. Enable the Display Only field.

  6. Click Save.

Or:

  1. Go to the WFM Admin Dashboard.

  2. Select WFM Configuration.

  3. Click on Pay Codes.

  4. Search for the relevant pay code.

  5. Enable Maintain via Absence Details Only.

  6. Click Save.

⚠️Note: Enabling the "Maintain Via Absence Detail Only" setting blocks manual entry of the pay code. However, the pay code may still appear on a timesheet if it is auto-generated by an absence pattern calculation, such as a rest day absence process. To allow manual changes, this setting must be disabled.
