Why Cancelled Leave Still Shows in the Team Calendar

It is not possible to remove notifications of cancelled annual leave from a manager’s team calendar.

Why?

The section being referred to in Team Scheduler is called Leave Request. This view will display all leave requests, regardless of their status. This includes:

  • Submitted

  • Approved

  • Rejected

In short, the Leave Request filter cannot be customised to exclude specific statuses—it will always display the full history of leave actions.


Can This Feature Be Turned Off?

If you prefer not to display any absences at all on the team scheduler, you can turn off the entire feature.

To do this, update the following parameter:

  • SCH_SHOW_ABSENCES → Set this to ‘N’

This will remove all absences from appearing in the Team Scheduler, including cancelled, approved, and pending requests.
