You can use Return to Work Interview (RTWI) templates to standardise questionnaires and ensure consistent return to work conversations across your organisation, while giving you the flexibility to tailor templates to different absence types and workflows.
To set up and manage an RTWI template, watch the video or follow the steps below.
Create an RTWI Template
From the dashboard menu, select WFM Admin Dashboard.
Click WFM Configuration then search for and select Return to Work Interview.
Click Add then enter a code and template name.
Select the pay codes you want to assign the template to.
Turn on the relevant toggles then click OK.
Add sections
To build structure into your questionnaire, you can create headings using sections. To do this, follow the steps below.
For the relevant template, click the three-dot menu.
Select Add/Edit Section then click Add.
Enter a section heading then select the relevant section type.
Enter a description then click Save.
Repeat this process to create the required sections.
Add and configure questions
Once you've created the structure of your questionnaire, you can add your questions to each section and format them to your organisational requirements. For example, you can set whether questions are mandatory. To do this follow the steps below.
For the relevant section, click the three-dot menu.
Select Add/Edit Question then click Add.
Enter the question and a description.
Select the question type then click Save.
Click the question's three-dot menu then select Configure.
π Note: The configuration options vary depending on the question type.
Fill in the configuration requirements then click OK.
Repeat these steps for each question you need to create.
Insight reporting
You can use PeopleXD Insight to report on return to work interview templates and track completion. There are three Insight views you can use for RTWI reporting:
Rtwi Access (Time): Displays a log of who has viewed return to work interview forms.
Rtwi Answers (Time): Holds questions and answers for each return to work interview template.
Person Absence Detail (Time): Now includes additional return to work interview data fields for general absence reporting.
Turn on RTWI viewing tracking
Before you can use the Rtwi Access (Time) view, you must enable a parameter in General Settings.
From the dashboard menu, search for and select WFM Configuration.
Search for and select General Settings.
Turn on the Record Return To Work Interview Viewing toggle.
Click Save.
Access to Rtwi Answers (Time)
To access the Rtwi Answers (Time) view, you need to enable a menu option on the relevant menu profile.
