Error: "You do not have permission to create historical absences outside of the rollback period" on Portal

Error can appear in Portal when submitting a leave request and when recording an absence in Team Scheduler as a Manager.

To resolve this error, The rollback period can be increased to allow the absence to be recorded.

To rollback the period follow the steps below:

  1. From the dashboard menu click WFM Admin Dashboard then click WFM Configuration.

  2. Click Company and Calendar Config then next to the relevant company click the three-dot menu.

  3. Click View/Edit then on the Summary tab update the Rollback Weeks For Data Entry for managers (MGR) or employees (EMP).

  4. Click Save.
