If you apply a company shutdown pay code globally to a group of staff, you may want to know what happens to pay codes already recorded for the same day, such as sick pay or other leave-related pay codes.
Existing pay codes are not overridden
Already-existing pay codes recorded for a day remain in place when a company shutdown pay code is applied globally. The company shutdown pay code does not override pre-existing leave-related pay codes, such as Parent's Leave, for that day.
