Roster alerts overview

Learn how roster alerts work in Evo, what each alert means, and where to view and act on scheduling issues.

Written by James Pardy

The Roster Alerts screen gives Workforce Management managers a clear, accessible view of scheduling issues across their team areas. Alerts are grouped by category so you can quickly identify and act on the issues that matter most for your roster period.

Viewing roster alerts

Roster alerts are available in two views:

  • Roster day view.

  • Roster week view.

To open the alerts panel, select the alert icon within either view. The panel displays all alerts generated for that period.

📌Note: Categories with zero alerts are not displayed in the panel.

The roster alerts panel

When the roster alerts panel opens, it shows the total number of alerts generated for the selected period.

Alert categories are displayed as collapsed rows by default. Each row shows the category name and the count of active alerts for that category.

To see the individual alerts within a category, select the category row to expand it. You can expand multiple categories at the same time — expanding a second category does not close the first.

Employee-based alert rows

Each employee-based notification row displays:

  • Employee name.

  • Employee ID.

  • Alert message.

Shift-based alert rows

Shift-based alerts (Shifts Not Filled, Shifts Over Filled, Shifts Filled, Days Short Staffed, Days Over Staffed) display the shift or area identifier and the alert message.

View links

Not every alert includes a View link. Only alerts with a specific date attached to them display a View link.
