You can manage and approve leave requests in PeopleXD as a manager or administrator. Use the Bulk Leave Approval screen to process multiple requests at once, or follow the steps below to resolve the most common approval error.
Common errors and resolutions
Error: 'Cannot approve unrostered leave request as employee is rostered during this request'
This error occurs when an employee was not rostered at the time they submitted their leave request, but later became rostered for those dates. The mismatch between the original submission and the current rostering prevents approval.
To resolve this, follow the steps below.
Ask the employee to cancel the original leave request.
Instruct the employee to resubmit the leave request with the current rostering in place.
Once the employee has resubmitted, approve the request.
Bulk leave approval
Administrators can use the Bulk Leave Approval screen in PeopleXD to review and approve multiple leave requests in one place, reducing the time spent processing requests individually.
