Understanding the Bulk Leave Approval screen in PeopleXD
The Bulk Leave Approval screen in PeopleXD is designed to help managers and administrators efficiently view and process multiple leave requests in one place. It reduces manual effort by allowing high-volume approvals to be handled from a single interface.
This helps teams maintain visibility and consistency when managing leave activity across the organisation.
Overview of the Bulk Leave Approval screen
The Bulk Leave Approval screen displays a consolidated list of leave requests so users can review, filter, and approve them in bulk.
It is commonly used by:
Managers handling team leave approvals
Administrators managing organisation-wide leave activity
By centralising requests, it supports faster decision-making and more efficient leave management.
Date range filtering
Instead of a start date offset, the Bulk Leave Approval screen uses a date range filter.
Users select a start date and an end date
The system then returns all leave requests within that period
This allows precise control over the data being viewed
Common issues and resolutions
Discrepancies in records displayed
Users may notice differences in the number of leave requests displayed. This is usually caused by access configuration or filtering differences.
Check user access configuration

Select WFM System User Configuration
Check Work Groups and Departments under Access Details
If necessary, ensure the correct Work Groups and Departments are assigned to provide appropriate visibility.

Review screen filters
Confirm the correct start and end date range is selected
Check employee status filters (e.g. active or dormant employees)
Ensure access to Sensitive Departments is enabled if required
Best practices for configuration and navigation
Regularly review user access settings to reflect organisational changes
Use the WFM Admin Dashboard β WFM Configuration β WFM System User Configuration path for all access updates
Always apply a clear date range to ensure accurate results
Train users to apply filters correctly to avoid missing or unexpected records
