You may see the message ‘You do not have the required access for Approval of [paycode] on [date]’ when trying to approve hours in Portal. This happens when your System User account doesn’t have the correct permissions enabled.
Once the correct privileges are switched on, you’ll be able to approve hours without issues.
Enable approval permissions
Before you start, ensure you can open the WFM Admin Dashboard and access System Users Configuration.
Click WFM Admin Dashboard, then click WFM Configuration.
Click WFM System Users Configuration.
By the affected user, click the three-dots menu.
Click View/Edit, then click Access Privileges.
Turn on the Approve Hours toggle.
Turn on the Sign-Off Hours toggle.
