This warning message appears because the Restrict Entry to Valid Balance Period option is set to STOP/ WARN.
π Note: Wait until the Current Open Balance Period has been closed off to enter leave for New Year.
Workaround on Portal
To fix this on Portal, follow the steps below.
Go to WFM Admin Dashboard.
Select WFM Configuration.
Click on Pay Codes.
Query the respective pay code.
Select Input Validation tab.
Update the field- 'Restrict Entry to Valid Balance Period' to 'Warn'/ 'Stop'/ 'No restriction'.
Workaround on Back-Office
To fix this in Back-Office, follow the steps below.
Go to CoreTime.
Select System Params.
Select Pay Codes.
Query the respective pay code.
Select General Parameters-3.
Update the field- 'Restrict Entry to Valid Balance Period' to 'Warn'/ 'Stop'/ 'No restriction'.
