Timesheet Input screen is view only and pay codes cannot be added

Find out how to resolve the issue where the Timesheet Input screen is view-only, preventing users from adding pay codes.

If the Timesheet Input screen appears in view-only mode, users won’t be able to add or edit pay codes.

This happens when the Timesheet Input - View Only Mode menu option is enabled in the user’s Menu Profile.

You can resolve this by disabling the view-only mode for the relevant user profile in Security > Menu Profile.

Disable view-only mode for Timesheet Input

Follow the steps below to disable Timesheet Input - View Only Mode:

  1. Go to Security.

  2. Select Menu Profile.

  3. Search for the relevant Menu Profile assigned to the user.

  4. Click Manage Menu Options.

  5. In the Menu Option Name field, search for Timesheet Input - View Only Mode.

  6. Disable this menu option by unticking it.

  7. Click Save.


What happens next

Once you disable view-only mode, the Timesheet Input screen will allow users to:

  • Add new pay codes.

  • Edit existing entries (if they have the correct permissions).
