How to Create a Period Closure

Set up a period closure for your organisation

Set up and manage a Period Closure in Workforce Management (WFM).

Steps to Create a Period Closure

  1. From the WFM Admin Dashboard, select the Period Closure tab.

  2. Click Add Period Closure.

  3. Enter the closure details (Name, Dates, Pay Code).

  4. Click OK.


Create a Criteria Group

  1. Click the 3-dot menu next to the Period Closure and select Assign Criteria Groups.

  2. Click Manage Criteria Groups and then Add.

  3. Enter the Name and Type, then click OK.

  4. Use the left-hand menu to select the reference data.

  5. Move the relevant attributes from Available to Assigned. Changes are saved automatically.


Assign a Criteria Group

  1. In Manage Criteria Groups, click Assign New Group.

  2. Select the Criteria Group from the dropdown.

  3. Click OK.

  4. Repeat if you need to assign additional groups.


Retrieve Employees

  1. Click the 3-dot menu next to the Period Closure and select Retrieve Employees.

  2. Review the list of employees.

  3. Use the Exclude toggle to remove any employees from the closure if needed.

  4. Click Assign to complete the process.
