Portal: Make a balance adjustment

Correct an employee's balance by making a manual balance adjustment.

There may be times when you need to make a balance adjustment to correct an employee's balance. To do this in PeopleXD Workforce Management, follow the steps below in Portal.

⚠️Important: Once you save a balance adjustment, you can't delete it. If you need to undo an adjustment, you need to enter a counter adjustment. For example, if you adjusted by +10, you need to adjust again by -10.

  1. From the dashboard menu, click WFM Admin Dashboard.

  2. Select WFM Person Maintenance then search for the relevant employee.

  3. Next to the employee, click the three-dot menu.

  4. Select Balances then, next to the relevant balance, click the three-dot menu.

  5. Select Balance Adjustment then enter the following details:

    • Date Effective: The date the adjustment should apply from.

    • Affecting Element: The element you need to adjust.

    • Adjustment Amount: The amount to adjust by.

    • Reason: Reason for the adjustment.

  6. Click Calculate balance then confirm the Calculate from Period.

  7. Click OK then click Save.
