To prevent sick leave absences from being recorded on days directly before or after annual leave, you’ll need to configure Adjoining Days Validation for the relevant pay codes. Follow the steps below in Back Office.

  1. Go to CoreTime, then click System Params.

  2. Select Pay Codes.

  3. In the Pay Code field, click the List icon and select the pay code you want to apply the restriction to.

  4. Under Adjoining Days Validation, check the Apply Validation box.

  5. From the Warning Level drop-down menu, select Stop to block the absence from being entered.

  6. In the Pay Code field, click the List icon again and select the pay codes that you want to restrict sick leave from adjoining.

    • These are the pay codes where sick leave cannot be booked on the adjoining day.

  7. Click the Save icon to apply your changes.

πŸ“ŒNote: This configuration will prevent users from booking sick leave directly before or after an annual leave day for the selected pay codes.
