How to update absence rules to fix occupational sick pay
Before you start, make sure you have access to CoreTime with permissions to modify system parameters.
Open CoreTime.
Go to System Params.
Select Ref A - C.
Choose Absence Pay Parameters.
Click Absence Rules and select the relevant rule.
Review the From Months and To Months fields in each row.
Update the values so that there are no gaps between rows. For example:
If the first row is 0 - 6, the next row should start at 6, not 7.
Save your changes.
Run Validation to confirm the updates are correct.
📌Note: Gaps between the To Months and From Months values can cause sick pay entitlements to fail generating properly.
