Why This Happens
Manually added or deleted hours on the employee's timesheet can cause the day to become locked.
This prevents further edits and may lead to missing or duplicated hours.
Recent changes to the employee’s Work Group can also cause duplication if timesheet rules have been reassigned or altered.
Check for Manual Changes
Review the employee's timesheet to see if hours were manually added or deleted.
If so, this can trigger the locked day indicator, preventing automatic adjustments.
Check for Work Group Changes
Go to the employee’s Work Group history.
Confirm if any recent changes were made, such as:
New Work Group assignment.
Changes in shift rules or pay codes.
If changes occurred, ensure that the correct timesheet rules are still applied.
Unlock the Day
If required, remove the manual entries to unlock the day.
Reprocess the timesheet or re-import hours from the relevant source to correct any issues.
⚠️Important: Always validate Work Group assignments before making manual adjustments to timesheets. Use the Absence/Clocking data as the source of truth when troubleshooting missing or duplicated hours.
