Set up length of service increments for balance entitlement

If your company provides extra holiday based on length of service (LOS), you can configure this in PeopleXD Workforce Management.

Use Length of Service (LOS) increments to automatically increase employee holiday entitlement based on service milestones.

Example scenarios

Years of Service

Additional Days Awarded

After 1 year

+1 day

After 2 years

+2 days

πŸ“ŒNote: If you set up both increments, employees would receive 3 extra days in total after two years.


Add a new LOS rule

Follow these steps to create a new Length of Service increment:

  1. Go to CoreTime and click System Params.

  2. Click Balances, then select Length of Service Increments.

  3. Click ? to open the LOS increment screen.

  4. Select the relevant LOS code.


Configure the increments

For each LOS rule, enter the following:

From Months

The starting point for the increment range.

To Months

The end of the increment range.

Floating Entitlement

The number of additional days awarded.

Set entitlement in hours

If your company awards hours instead of days:

  • From the Entitlement For field, select Hours.
